The other day I said that I did not have the same hunger for dance after all of these years like I do with yoga and writing, but then I gave myself a full barre and took all of that back. “I will always have a little bit of darkness patch-worked into my soul. I will always have those leftovers wrapped in me, and this happens to be the best backdrop for firing thoughts, epiphanies, and light to bounce off of. Something has to happen in the before part of our story to carry us through to the after. We can always grow beyond regret.
